ANy tips for me? I just got myhair straightened for the first time professionally on December 24th 2010. She asked me if she could cut the spilt ends and I asked her is is much she said no just a little andshe cut off about 4 inches. I want my hair to grow to my waist or below before My graduation which is JUne 18th 2011. I take biotin(5000 mcg) and I keep my hair in protective stylings! Anymore tips that will rapidly increase my hair growth??

@muchi090 hi! honestly my best advice is to listen to your hair and treat it like your baby. Be gentle with it. I wear my hair down almost everyday and my hair still grows, so I’m not in touch with the protective styles. Cutting your dead ends is a good thing bc your hair will be stronger when it grows! Just follow these 6 tips in my video and things should work! I hope that helps! =)

hey i heard that you shouldnt brush your hair when wet but your is an exception i guess lol i love your hair! but i have a question! okay i have curlier hair then yours and its about shoulder length, but i want it like to the middle of my boobs (haha) do you think that if i grow it out, the curls will loosen up or get bigger?

@LuckyCharmzz3 Hey!! Well you are supposed to detangle your hair when its wet….the denman brush is like a combing brush, it doesn’t have bristles. So it’s okay. Most curlies use that or a comb. but yes most curl patterns tend to loosen up when your hair grows longer….mine does that. It’s because the hair gets heavier and pulls down on the curl.

hey girl!! very good tips! thank you so much for taking the time out and sharing with us “curly head girls” how to grow out our hair, cuz curly hair can be VERY difficult to manage. I just have one question… when you say you leave conditioner in your hair every night.. do you mean leave in conditioner, or a conditioner that you would normally wash out??

  7. CelDrea on April 13th, 2011 2:01 am

@LaMorenita881 thanks so much for the feedback! When I leave the conditioner in, it is a regular conditioner…..but don’t put it on your scalp. Make sure its just on the ends.

Thank you for the great tips. So when you put conditioner on your ends do you braid your hair at night or what do you do with it?

@mrsdimples34 Check out my nightime routine video!! I usually just put conditioner on and leave it!

using conditioner more than shampoo is really important I think. I use a cleansing conditioner instead of ever using shampoo because it keeps my hair from drying out and keeps my hair clean. you’re def right about sulfates and chemicals. super bad for your hair.

Egg. Egg has so many moisturizing nutrients for your hair. I deep condition it with coconut oil once every week. My hair ADORES it.
